“We’re In” A Foursquare Like App By Windows 7

People like to communicate with their friends and stay in touch every minute. That’s why there are phones and internet, but if you have a Smartphone, you can do a lot more than that. Microsoft has launched a new app for its Windows Phone 7 called “We‘re In”. This app lets you know where your friends are at that time. It’s pretty easier than calling or texting the friend and then asking.we are in windows 7

Microsoft made its official release announcement at “Search Blog” which is Bing official Blog. “We‘re In” is a very simple app, you can start with broadcasting your own location on the app, which is like putting up a status message. Well, you can put up status messages too but the main purpose is that you can broadcast your current location to all your friends. So that they can locate you easily.

After installing the app, you need to sign up by using your phone number and then this service will add your friends who are using this app to your list. This app works more like a mixture of Twitter and Foursquare, you can put up your status and show your location and that’s it, and it’s not really a tracking app.

Whenever your friends post a status, they’ll show up on a map so you can locate your friends easily. If your friend wants you to send some address, or anything like that you can also receive those. The map is very cool and flexible, you can pan pinch zoom whatever you want to have clear look.
People may think that this tool might steal their privacy but it doesn’t work that way. Your location is never shared without your permission and whenever you put up a status update it also has an expiration date, so you are not tracked everywhere you go. Tracking works only when you want it to be. You can also choose which friends you want your location to be exposed. So this is a private app, and easily available at Zune Marketplace. windows 7 application we are in
