Access iPhone Home Screen Icons Any Where you Want, Even Within An App By Using “Springround”

Today, we are going to discuss a tweak called Springround which is developed by Andrea Oliva. It is going to be released on Cydia store in the coming weeks. Springround is an extension tweak which we have not seen before and we can see that Oliva and his team have worked very hard on this tweak’s development. So, the main feature of Springround is very simple but important as well. Springround provides access to device Springboard everywhere. If you don’t know what Springboard of the device is, it is a screen view where all app icons are located, and it acts as the main navigation and launching base for most of apps and other activities on the device as well.

Access Menu Within An App

When an app is launched, Springboard disappears and the new app view appears as the primary input and if a user wants to access the Springboard, he would have to exit the app by pressing the home button and Springboard will be active. Springround will alter this default behavior and user will be allowed to set an Activator based gesture which will show the Springboard screen overlaid on the current App. Then user will be able to access all of the Springboard functions including the ability to launch apps, remove apps through edit mode, Spotlight search and even ability to change the apps order and other things.

Works Without Lag

Springround is installed with a dedicated preference section which allows users to set the activation method and determine other options as well. Springround has been tested by us and you will notice that Springboard works very smooth with this tweak, even we have run different functions, and overall experience is very smooth and delightful for sure. So, it is a very polished tweak and when you press the home button, Springround view dismisses with a nice animation without any sort of lag whatsoever.

As I mentioned above, Springround will hit the Cydia store very soon but we don’t have any information about the price and iOS compatibility requirements of the tweak.
