Ali Raza Mehdi Resigns From Zong

It has been heard that Mr. Ali Mehdi, who is known to be the HR expert in the cellular world, resigned from Zong. He recently got connected to Zong and was working as Director Human Resources and was the member of Executive Management Team. The news has been confirmed from the sources with in the company where as the PR department of Zong has still not verified that whether Mr. Ali Mehdi has left Zong or not. The department says that he is still the HR head of the company and they have no idea about his resignation from the job.

Ali Mehdi is the third Zong’s Director HR who has till now resigned. The reason of Mr. Mehdi’s resignation is the disagreement with the Chinese CFO and CEO.

There are still doubts that which company is Mr. Mehdi going to join. The news was that before joining Zong, he had job offers from Warid as well. Where as Telenor can also be his soon-to-be stop.

It will not be a miss to point out here that Zong is very poor in its HR policies and practices. Difference in the value for the management of Pakistani and Chinese is remarkable there. In addition, the seat for COO became vacant after Mr. Zafar Usmani left Zong and it is still to be filled.
