Android Latest Version to be Named Honeycomb by Google

HoneyComb New Android Version:

Google has been creative and funny with all the names it has been picking for its mobile platform versions, they all sound so good that you would want to eat them. One of their initial Android version was named after a baker item Cupcake, the trend followed and all of their later versions were named after food items e.g Android 1.6 was named Donut, android 2.1 was named Eclair, while 2.2 was named Froyo. And we already know the version name of Android 3.0 which is called Gingerbread and is set to be released some time soon.

Now recently Techradar released an other mouth watering news that Google has decided a name for its upcoming android version 3.1 or 3.2, which is said to have “Honeycomb” as its name for now. Googe has been approached, but they have not verified the news as of yet.

Android is already sweeping market shares and getting popular amongst mobile phone vendors, due to its open source natures, application developers take great interest in it as well, a lot of upcoming smartphones are supposed to be loaded with this OS and the way its going, it will give tough competition to Iphone and Blackberry phones.

With invention of new technology, we need to have better systems to cater them. Honeycomb just does that, it is said to be able to out perform its previous versions in stability and functions. Honeycomb will most likely support the new advanced and powerful hardware as well be compatible with high display resolutions.
