According to various profiles which are being pushed through so many mobile carriers selling iPhone are suggesting that highly anticipated release of iOS 5.1 might be happening very soon, as soon as 9th March to be specific.

Relief For iPhone 4S Users

This would come as a big relief to all those owners of iPhone 4S who have been suffering from the battery issues. Well, we cannot promise anything or draw any conclusions because all those claims of fixing all the battery issues were not true in the case of iOS 5.0.1 release. On the other hand, more focus goes to the new features and improvements being introduced to Siri in this new software update. In a very recently released beta release of iOS 5.1 we have found out that Siri will have iPad support in iOS 5.1. Well, we still don’t know how much features of Siri will be included in iPad and which of the two iPads is going to get Siri.

Official Stuff Always Preferred Over Cydia

A couple of weeks ago, Absinthe jailbreak was released for all the A5 devices and we have been seeing a lot of jailbreak tweaks since. There are many tweaks released to enhance the power of iPhone 4S and there are many which also include using Siri and increasing its capabilities. But keeping in mind all that, we still would like to have official update from Apple to provide us some native content which is always preferred over Cydia due to its stability.

Well, another rumor also states that Apple might be releasing the next generation iPad on 9th March followed by the announcement on 29th February. And in the above image we have found out that iOS 5.1 will be releasing on the same day. So, it really matches and it is highly possible that iPad 3 will bring iOS 5.1 out of the box and both will be released together on 9th March 2012. iPad 3 is highly expected to get Siri but there are still rumors showing us that iPad 2 might also get some Siri features in the iOS 5.1. We will keep you updated with this, stay tuned.
