At Last Warid Wakes Up To Start Twitter SMS Notifications Service

All the facebook fans will surely be familiar with the sms service of facebook through which status, or comments can be uploaded. It is indeed a very useful technology because anyone can use facebook now even without an internet connection. Similarly the same service is also available on twitter. Mobilink, Telenor, Zong and Ufone are supporting this service on twitter for some time now. But Warid has just taken this wise step and have signed a deal with twitter to let its customers use twitter via sms.

How To Subscribe?

After logging into your twitter account follow the simple instructions below.

  • Open http://twitter.com/devices
  • Type “Pakistan” in the space for country name.
  • Select your subscriber as Warid and type your cell number and the process will be completed.

Note

After subscribing to this service, any sms that you send on the number 40404 will be published as a tweet. You will have to go online to see all of your tweets. You will also receive sms notifications free of cost.

Charges

  • The subscription is absolutely free.
  • you will not be charged even a penny on receiving sms notifications from twitter.
  • You will only have to pay when you send an sms to 40404. It will cost you Rs 1 + Tax.
  • We assure you that there are no hidden rates.
