How To Increase Your Battery Timing? (part 2)

Following are some tips regarding improving the battery life time of mobile phones and by following this walkthrough, you can maximize the battery timing of your mobile set. This is the 2nd and last part of the article i wrote earlier, with the combination of previous tips in part 1 and these current tips, you can significantly improve the battery life of your hand sets, you can also share your hacks or methods for improving battery time, it can help the community in general.;

Text instead of call

I am not saying to quit calling and only conversate through messaging but when not necessary then try to text instead of calling because a call consumes far more battery than a text message.

Always keep checking the task manager to see what apps are running

Now this is one of the most important tip for saving the battery. You should always keep checking the task manager of your phone, so that you can clearly see that what applications are running in the background. If there are some undesired applications then you can easily close from there and save the extra battery which was consumed by those applications.

Lessen the back light timing

If you lock the keypad after usage then the backlight timing does not affect the battery because the light automatically dims and goes out. But if you do not lock your phone’s keypad then it is a strictly recommended to lessen your backlight timing. Because suppose the backlight timing is set to 5 minutes and you don’t lock the keypad then the backlight will consume the battery for an extra 5 minutes after you use the phone.

Headphones instead of loud speaker for music

When listening to music try to use headphones instead of loudspeaker. Suppose you are sitting alone and are listening to the music on loudspeaker then this is a mere waste of battery. When there is a choice of headphones then try not to waste your mobile phone’s battery. It is not the point that when you are sitting with friends and are in a mood to listen to music then put on your headphones.  But the point is that when you have the opportunity to save battery then don’t waste it.

Don’t let the battery get too hot

The most efficient and easy way to damage your phone’s battery is to simply place it in sunlight or let it get hot in some other way. The battery will soon give up. So, try your most to keep the battery cool and dry so that it can work for maximum time.

Check for software updates

Always keep checking for the latest software offered by the company for your phone. As the engineers may have found some new ways for optimizing the battery performance.

All of the above tips are very important and must be followed because no other battery can give the performance which the original battery gives. So always try to take care of the original battery.
