China Converts iPhone 5 Into A Tablet

There is no doubt that China is leading the world with its knockoff products. They have been producing different knockoffs of various premium products and now they are even getting better at it too. Today, A Chinese tablet has been released that features a 7 inch display screen and it is a knockoff of an Apple product. Now, you might be thinking that they have made a knockoff of the newly released iPad Mini, no, instead this 7 inch tablet device from China has the same design as the new iPhone 5 from Apple.

MTK

This new knockoff is called MTK and it looks like a iPhone 5 with instead of the 4 inch Retina display, a large 7 inch screen. Previously, different other Chinese knockoffs have copied the designs of iPad Mini, iPhone 5 and some even replicated the MacBook Air but still this is the first time when they have designed a tablet with the aesthetics of a smartphone.

Different Material & Colour Scheme

When we talk about the design and the aesthetics of the device, it does not have the same premium material which is used in the iPhone 5, but still it is pretty decent and looks slick. It does not follow the color scheme of the iPhone 5, as the MTK tablet has white and dull gray color. Of course just like all other knockoff devices, this tablet also runs on Android and you have to keep in mind that MTK tablet is really one of the best Apple product knockoff we have seen in the recent times.

Android Powered

Now, when we go into the specs of the device, it runs on Android 4.0.4 which is Ice Cream Sandwich and not the Jelly Bean 4.1. Another key feature of this device will be its ability make voice phone calls as it supports GSM/GPRS networks. Other connectivity features include the GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

It also has front and back cameras which are decent as well. Overall, it is a nice product and we are amazed to see how good Chinese are getting in making such knockoff devices.
