Download OpenOther+: Now You Can Tap on One Icon To Open The Other!! [iPhone App]

With the addition of folders and several various features, application management has been enhanced to a greater extent. It helps in the installation of numerous softwares and lets us access them in a very easy way.

Won’t it be interesting that you tap one icon BUT it redirects to another application of your choice? A new jailbreak tweak has come in, which is now going to be explained in detail.  That jailbreak tweak is named as OpenOther+.  OpenOther+, for the sake of competence and efficiency, lets the user to allot a specific icon of an application to an absolutely different application. Is it confusing? Let’s explain it with an example. A user uses TweetDeck application for the Twitter but he wants that when he taps on the Twitter for iPhone shortcut, the TweetDeck app opens; this has been made possible by OpenOther+.

OpenOther+ is not visible unless it is used. It doesn’t add any icon to the home screen plus its usage doesn’t change the appearance and feel of the device. To make own shortcut, press and hold any icon and tap the one which is intended to be used as shortcut. Then steer to the application’s icon you want to point your shortcut to and tap on it. This all takes a few seconds to be done and is very easy.

The iPhone, iPod touch or iPad should be jailbroken if somebody wishes to install this tweak.  iPhone, iPad or iPod touch on iOS4.3.5 can be jailbroken using Redsn0w or PwnageTool where as iOS 4.3.3 can be jailbroken via Redsn0w, PwnageTool, Sn0wbreeze & JailbreakMe. JailbreakMe is the easiest among all. Before you proceed with all this, make sure you are well aware of the basic diagnostic tasks in the iOS devices.

The OpenOther+ is offered on Cydia from the BigBoss storehouse which should be fascilated by default. Search for OpenOther+ within Cydia and open the first shown result.  It costs about $1.99 which is not a great deal of money and on the other hand it saves the users’ time in launching applications.
