Currently the biggest name in the world of smartphones is Apple. After introducing the first iPhone Apple has reached to immense popularity till now. All the old companies started to follow the iPhone style. This was done because all the other companies saw that iPhone by its unique touch screen style was really catching people’s attention. The importance of physical buttons and the un importance of multi touch screens was much supported by many companies at a time but they were forced by the growing fame of Apple to change their decision and follow the idea of Steve Jobs.

If we look back in 2006 into the world of mobiles then we only see small plastic mobiles with small screen and low resolution. But we can say that Apple changed the whole trend. For the first time it introduced the most powerful smartphone with a bunch of new features in 2007. Take a look at the phones of every growing company. In what shape were their phones in 2006 or 2007? and now look at them that in what shape are they now? After seeing this you will say yourself that yes all the companies are actually following Apple smartphones.

Now we should talk about the operating system which Apple introduced named iOS. iOS is a very impressive and powerful operating system. The latest version of iOS has many modern features. Now the question is that is there any strong competitor of Apple in the market?

If we talk about the smartphone then it is Samsung which is creating a bit worries for Apple, because Samsung is offering cheap smartphones with latest features. And if we talk about the operating system then the Google made Android is a big threat for Apple, because it is almost offering all the features if iPhone. Samsung and other cheap smartphone developing companies have now jumped into the battle field to make phones which have the ability to take the place of iPhones. These phones can also be called “iPhone Killers”. Samsung,  by developing its galaxy series is ahead of all the other competitors of Apple.

Apple is also realizing that some companies are imposing a serious threat to it so it is also trying to lower the price of its smartphones and supply them into under developed mobile phone markets.
