Netflix is a well-liked online on-demand streaming media service for the USA and Canada. The users who have subscribed to it can stream thousands of movies and televisions shows on a variety of devices including the Xbox 360, iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows Phone 7.
In the beginning when Android received an official app for Netflix sometime back it was only limited to high end devices. However with time the number of supported devices has increased but still it can not be installed on many of the phones. But today the hacking community has released a customized Netflix for Android .apk that will work on every Android device including Honeycomb-based tablets. This news was announced by Kevin lexsanders on Droid Forums and thus released the application. This application has been customized by the developer and is compatible with all Android devices.

Although it has been confirmed from multiple sources that the application works accurately but still to be on the safe side, it is suggested to take a backup using Titanium before going ahead with the installation.
The developer states that if the Netflix app already installed on the phone, its data must be cleared and uninstalled before proceeding. This can be done by going to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Netflix and tapping on Clear Data and then Uninstall.
With that bit done, it should be ensured that the Unknown sources option checked under Settings > Applications. Now simply download the .apk file from the link embedded below and install it.
