iPhone 4s Leaked Casing Photos Reveal Changed Antenna Design [IMAGES]

In the previous days more rumors about the selling of forthcoming iPhone 5 with a lower end iPhone 4 were heard possibly to take place of the outdated iPhone 3GS. Nothing much is known about the up coming handset, but some parts of the cases have been leaked and by looking at them, it seems that iPhone 4S will be similar to iPhone 4 except a very few and minute modifications. It is to be kept in mind that the whole cases design has not been leaked but just the metal frame that holds and supports all the components of the phone. This metal frame also works as the antenna for the phone.

The place of the antenna breaks has been changed. They are now at the bottom of the casing. This changing of place for the antenna will help in moderating the “death grip” or “antennagate”, an issue that prevents handsets from receiving good cell reception are accidentally covered when some unknown user holds it. Placing said breaks at the bottom will make it much more unlikely for users to inadvertence covering them. There is a lot more than just the performance improvements.

This leaked casing has an interesting aspect and that is the lack of its dedicated home button area. Apple could make changes to the layout of this section of the phone’s interface, shifting the home button or removing it completely and thus  making the device’s input fully based on  multi-touch except  from the volume and mute controls along the side. Besides of these minor changes iPhone 4S has no clear changes that the users can easily figure out. Once it is all done and assembled and if Apple doesn’t make changes to the home button area, it will exactly look like iPhone 4.

The iPhone 4S aside from these unimportant visual changes it is expected to have a higher-quality camera and a faster processor and a dual-A5.

Along with the iPhone 4S, there are rumors that Apple is planning a fully redesigned model with some additional features such as a larger screen and that will be known as the iPhone 5.

Both of these devices are expected to be introduced at Apple’s media event which is expected to be held next month.
