We all know that Mobile World Congress or MWC is right around the corner and all the major manufacturers from the world are going to be there bringing their best devices to show off. Well, Acer has just unveiled its first of the two Android smartphones for this year. Last month Acer brought the first smartphone named Liquid E1 and now the company has also announced another one named as Liquid Z2. Both of the devices are expected to hit the shelves in March this year.
Specifications of Liquid E1 & Z72
So, let’s talk about the specs of the both devices, firstly, Acer Liquid E1 is basically a mid range device. It will be coming with a 4.5 inch screen with qHD or 960 x 540 pixels resolution. It will be powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and it will be coming with a 1GHz dual core processor under the hood. It will also feature 1GB of RAM and 5MP camera on the back. In addition to that, Liquid Z1 will have 1,760 mAh battery. It will be using 3G HSPA network technology but it will not support 4G LTE. Acer might also bring a separate model of this device with dual SIM support.
When we talk about the Acer Liquid Z2 handset, it is more affordable and entry level handset and it might not have any impressive features. It will be coming with a 3.5 inch display screen with 480 x 320 pixel or HVGA resolution. It will be featuring a 1GHz single core processor and it will be running on the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Z2 will be coming with both 3MP rear camera variant and 5MP rear camera variant. It will also have 512Mb RAM and 1300 mAH powered battery. It will also be capable of supporting dual SIM cards.
In addition to all that, both devices have some common features including GPS, microSD card support, Bluetooth, WiFi and FM Radio.
We don’t know when these will be releasing and pricing is also not confirmed but they are expected to have a price tag of around 200 Euros for Liquid E1 and around 100 Euros for Liquid Z2.
