Liquipel claims to make your smartphone water resistant by bonding it inside and out with a “nano” coating which repels water. While this isn’t for deep sea diving, it appears to be an ideal solution if you are clumsy or happen to be around water quite a bit.

So, if you are too excited about this technology, we have both good and bad news for you in this matter. Well, the good news is that the technology is available in the market at the moment and it only costs $59, which can be called reasonable as it will protect your device from water damages. Now move to the bad news, which is that you will not be able to apply the Liquipel nano coating by yourself, you will have to send your smartphone to the company and their workers will apply the coating and then return it. The whole process will take place within 1-2 days.
