Microsoft Country General Manager for Pakistan Joins PML-N

In the recent past Asad Umar, the former president of Engro Corporation announced that he was going to join politics. Now we have similar news that Mr Kamal Ahmad who is the Country General Manager in for Pakistan has announced to step into politics. He has chosen PML-N for starting his career. The announcement was made after a long meeting between PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and Kalam Ahmad. Nawaz Sharif was quiet glad by including an educated person to his party and welcomed Mr Kamal warmly.

For the past 6 years Mr Kamal Ahmad served as Country General Manager for Pakistan. But now he is currently in his notice duration from Microsoft. Let me add to your knowledge that Microsoft hires Country GMs only with a contract of 6 years. After that the General Manager has to step down. According to our sources, Mr Kamal was offered a seat on the regional level by Microsoft but he did not accept the offer due to unknown reasons. Microsoft has not named the new General Manager yet but will soon announce the name.

This trend seem to grow in Pakistan in the recent past and frankly speaking it will benefit this country. The education and business blend with politics can surely help this country to get out of the crisis currently going on. This is because an educated person can think and plan much better than the uneducated person. But the country can only make progress if this educated class is honest and loyal to the country.
