Mobile Connections Will Reach 6 Billion Mark In Late November

Wireless Intelligence has released a new report which states that the total mobile connections in the world will cross a mighty figure by end of this year. This will directly mean that in just 16 months there will be an increase of 1 billion mobile connections in the whole world. Approximately by the year’s end there will be total number 6.08 billion connections. So, it is obvious that the 6 billion mark will be reached in the late November.

India & China Mainly Resposible For This Mega Growth

According to the research report, the main region responsible for this huge growth is Asia-Pacific. It will have over 50% share of all the connections in the world by the end of this year. India and China are two largest markets in the world which are the main cause of this mega growth in mobile industry. Following is the list of largest mobile markets in Asia-Pacific which are included in the largest mobile markets in the world list:

  •  China (#1)
  •  India (#2)
  •  Indonesia (#4)
  •  Vietnam (#7)
  •  Japan (#8)
  •  Pakistan (#9)

Statistics also show that in near future Africa will take over the Americas to become the second largest mobile market region and Eastern Europe will also be taking over the Western Europe on the bases of new connections. Following is the chart of the statistics released by Wireless intelligence:
