Mobilink is one of the very first telecommunication companies that started business in Pakistan. In the start when calls were expensive, sms packages were not offered then mobilink being one of the few companies did a lot of business and became very popular in no time. As the time passed, more and more people started to buy mobile phones and the number of network subscribers also increased. To convince the public other companies started to offer cheap call rates and sms packages. Mobilink also decreased the rates but only a bit. Public saw more cheaper rates on other networks so people started to leave mobilink.

 

From the last one or two years mobilink is trying hard to gain customers by offering cheap call rates, night packages and other packages like Ladies Package. Keeping in view all the above facts mobilink still has a large amount of customers in its network.

Apart from many other features, mobilink is also offering a dial tunes feature.

Most of you people will have knowledge about caller tunes but this feature will still be unknown to many of you. So it is important to first tell you about this feature.

What do we mean by Caller Tune

When a friend calls you, he constantly hears a beep sound with a gap in it which is also known as bell. But if you have subscribed the mobilink’s caller tune offer then your friend will not hear the beep sound. Instead he can hear a song, naat, Quranic aayats and much more.

This feature does not give any advantage to the customers but it is just an entertainment feature and is quiet liked by the people.

How to subscribe “Mobilink caller tunes” or “Mobitunes”?

You can subscribe mobitunes by dialing 230 from your mobile phone and follow the instructions. You will receive a sms for the conformation of subscription.

You can also call the “customer helpline service” by dialing 111 for further information and queries.

How much does Mobitunes feature cost?

  • Weekly subscription charges for this service are Rs 3.75+tax.
  • Mobitunes IVR surfing charges are 3.99/minute + tax.

Record your own Mobitunes

You can also record and set mobitune in your own voice. The method is quiet simple. Select the 4th option from the main menu and talk or sing into the system. Your voice will be recoreded as set as your mobitune. A maximum of 30 seconds mobitune can be recorded. An important thing to note is that self recorded mobitune can take a maximum of 1 hour to come into effect.

Other important information

  • You can also gift a mobitune.
  • A mobitune can be also set for a specific caller. For details click here.
  • Number of people listening to your dial tune does not effect the charges.
  • You can also blacklist a caller from the list. For this purpose dial 230.
