Motorola Milestone 2 Release Date and Specs:

The day has started with a great news, a video started floating on internet earlier today and Motorola announced its newest gadget, which is a sequel to its previous phone “Milestone” However, Motorola Milestone 2 is DROID 2 based phone and shall be released in USA with Motorola Droid 2 Name.

It has pretty much similar specifications to their previous phone named Motorola Droid. We have yet to know the talk time and stand by time of the phone, but we can put some light on other features it has. It comes with 116.3 x 60.5 x 13.7 mm dimensions and 169 grams in weight, well, that’s not bad for such a sleek looking mobile. Following is the promo video rotating around.

Just like previous version it has a TFT  touch screen and has 16 Million colours to support it. Phone got a nice 5 mega pixel camera, which has auto focus and dual LED Flash. Finally the most interesting part, the hardware and the core system, Milestone 2 comes with an OMAP SOC processor which runs on 1GHZ, which is further supported with 512 MB of ram. The phone is based on Latest Android version 2.2, it is also equipped with Froyo. There is no exact Release Date yet, but we expect it to hit the market by the end of 2010, most likely around Christmas when sales are booming.
