Nokia 801; One Of The Last Symbian Smartphones By Nokia [IMAGE LEAKED]

We all know that Symbian is the reason why Nokia is no more in the big leagues of smartphone industry. That’s why Nokia gave up on its Symbian OS and partnered with Microsoft and now the company is releasing new devices running on Windows Phone OS. Well, it seems like we have the last great Symbian smartphone here, it’s called Nokia 801 and a recent report has leaked out its image. Nokia 801 is expected to be a very capable device. Previous rumors suggested that Nokia 801 is going to succeed the camera centric popular handset, Nokia N8, which means a better and impressive set of optics will be introduced in this device. So, here is the image where you can see all the Symbian glory shinning in the dark:

As you might have noticed, the handset in the above image is running on Symbian Belle but interestingly, when you observe closely, it looks very similar to Nokia Lumia 800 as well as Nokia N9, as it comes with same curved screen and body design. It also confirms a previously leaked out image of the device which might be releasing very soon.

Well, if we listen more to the rumors, we have previously found out that Nokia 801 is expected to bring a 4 inch ClearBlack AMOLED display with a very low resolution of only 360 x 640 pixels. On the other hand, it is expected to bring a 1.4 GHz processor under the hood alongside a 512 MB of RAM. Additionally, Nokia 801 will be rocking a 12 MP auto focus camera with dual LED flash, obviously dual LED flash does not succeed the Xenon flash found in N8. Last but not the least; the camera will also be capable of recording 1080p videos.

So, what do you think about this last great Symbian running Nokia handset.
