Now Search Directly From The ‘Notification Center’ of Your iOS 5 Using Cydia’s New Tweak

As you know Apple rolled out the latest iOS update earlier this month. The iOS 5 came with many new features new Notification Center is one of them. So, if you have updated your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to the new iOS then we have very good news for you. Yes, now you will be able to search the web right from your Notification Center. This is all possible with a new jailbreak tweak released by Cydia today. With the help of this tweak you will be able to search Google, Wikipedia and YouTube right from the Notification Center of iOS 5. Developers have named this tweak as WeeSearch for Notification Center. Obviously you will need to have a jailbroken iDevice to install this tweak, and then a search bar will appear in the Notification Center. Now tap that bar and type whatever you want to search for and you will see options between Google, YouTube and Wikipedia and there you are. You have successfully turned your iOS 5 Notification Center into a search engine too.

There are two settings which come along the tweak which are slim view and standard view. In standard view mode, you will have all three options which I mentioned above, but in slim view you will not have any option and you will search into Google be default. You will certainly need a jailbroken iOS based device. You can jailbreak your device by using PwnageTool, Redsn0w or Sn0wbreeze.
