Popular iPhone Photography App, Instagram, Coming Soon For Android

Here is good news for all the Android users because now they are going to have the popular photography app of iPhone soon. The app is known as Instagram.

This above news has been seen on the CNET, known to be a website for technology and media, in which it has posted the statement made by the CEO, Kevin Systrom, of the Instagram regarding the launch for Android. The statement is as follows:

Instagram has risen to popularity in the photo-sharing realm just with an iPhone app, but Chief Executive Kevin Systrom today said an Android version is on the way.

This statement has been made during LeWeb conference, held in Paris, by CEO. CEO said “We have two people working on Android now,” and also added “I’m excited to be able to see our numbers today nearly double.” The release date of this app has not yet been mentioned officially but it seems that the app will be released in a couple of weeks instead of months.

Number of Users Increasing Day By Day

This app was firstly released in last year for iPhone 4, when the developers saw that the trend of photography is increasing so they thought that this app can do good job for them. The reason for releasing this app in iPhone 4 was its good performance in photography. You can easily observe that after the release of it many other such apps were also released so we can term it to be one of the famous historic apps that we ever had. According to some stats this app is accessed by almost 14-15 million registered users and it is hoped that this number will be doubled as this app arrives in the Android market.

Those who have yet not check out this app should know this is free photography app which includes two basic steps. Firstly, you have to take a photograph and then you can apply 16 different filters to it. Now the photo is ready to upload, if you want to, on social networks like Facebook Twitter etc.
