Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Releasing In Europe At The End Of March 2013

Samsung has been working really hard on its Galaxy Note lineup of smartphones and tablets and we have seen two phablets and a tablet in this lineup. We have been hearing about the Korean company making an 8 inch Galaxy Note branded tablet. In addition to that, we have also seen a few leaked images of the device as well but still we were unable to confirm that when this device is going to be launched. First of all, we don’t even know that Samsung is even interested into launching this device but now after seeing this recent leak we are pretty sure that the launch of Galaxy Note 8.0 is very near.

Apparently, we have found out that Samsung is planning on releasing the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet in Europe by the end of March and it will be coming with a price tag a little higher than that of the iPad Mini from Apple. The news leaked by a tablet retailer based in Bulgaria, who had received the release date and pricing details of the Galaxy Note 8.0.

Details of Galaxy Note 8.0

According to the same source, we have found out that the WiFi only version of the Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet will cost 699 Leva in Bulgaria which will be equal to 359 Euros. Now, you have to keep in mind that the WiFi only, 16GB storage version of Apple iPad Mini has the retail price of 349 Euro which is not a big difference.

On the other hand, Samsung is also going to release a variant of Galaxy Note 8.0 which will be featuring 3G connectivity and it will cost around 449 Euros.

Well, we have not received any official word on the specs of the device but it seems like this device will be coming with an 8 inch display along with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution which superior than the 1024 x 768 pixel resolution of iPad Mini’s display. In addition to that, it also has other superior specs including a 1.6 GHz quad core processor as well as 2GB of RAM under the hood. Of course Galaxy Note 8.0 will be coming with a S-Pen. Overall, it will be a better tablet than the iPad Mini with almost the same price.
