Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket Vs LG Nitro HD
We had already compared the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket with HTC vivid because both of these were now 4G LTE smartphone, offered by AT&T. Now here a comparison of Samsung Galaxy S II Sky rocket has been shown with LG Nitro HD.
Design & Display
In case of appearance none of these stand out because of their similar design but one thing that is impressive in both of these is there light weight. As both of these are made up of plastic but it seems better in LG Nitro HD. Nitro includes 720p (720 x 1280) HD IPS display while it is WVGA (480 x 800) Super AMOLED Plus for Skyrocket. As Nitro is better but most of the users are impressed with Skyrocket and it is quite surprising. There are three capacitive buttons in LG Nitro and four in Skyrocket.
Camera
A 2-mega pixels front-facing camera can easily be seen in Skyrocket and 1.3 mega pixels in Nitro and both of these are capable of shooting 1080p video but LG NITRO HD shows sharper details than Sky Rocket. Rear camera is same in both of these cases i.e. 8 mega-pixels autofocus.
Processor & Connectivity
Both of the smartphones are running on 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon with 1 GB RAMS but the result of Skyrocket is pretty much better and their messaging option is also outclass.
Some of their specifications in connectivity portion include good voice calls and their speed is about the same i.e. 8Mbit/s down and 1.5Mbit/s up, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, Wi-Fi and also the mobile hotspot functionality.
Memory
Along with an internal memory LG NITRO HD offers micro SD clot which has 16 GB card in it. The internal memory of Skyrocket is 11.25 GB and a micro SD card can also be inserted in it for bigger storage.
Battery Timing
Calling quality is poor in both of the cases as both have different issues due to which we are unable to have what is basically required. Battery life is what everyone sees in a smartphone at first. Skyrocket provides better battery timing i.e. 14 hours of life with normal usage even both have same size of battery.
When we have to decide which one of the above is better as a whole, we can say that LG Nitro HD is somehow leading. Both of these have similar prices of about $249.99. Nitro HD is also able to capture sharper photos.
