Samsung Surprises Everyone By Announcing Galaxy S Advance

As we have been reporting about the rumors and speculations about the expected launch of Samsung Galaxy S III at upcoming Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, well, Samsung has surprised everyone by announcing a completely different smartphone.

The new smartphone is called Galaxy S Advance and basically the Korean manufacturer has aimed this handset towards the mid range market. But still, its specs are pretty decent and here check it out in the image below:

Samsung has planned to release this new smartphone all around the world, but it is expected that the manufacturer might change its name while releasing in US. Now, let’s talk about the set of technical specs present in this new device.

Specifications

First of all, the device has a 4 inch Super AMOLED display screen and it is powered by a 1 GHz dual core CPU. The manufacturer has not confirmed that make or model of the processor chip yet. Additionally, Samsung Galaxy S Advance comes with 768 MB of RAM and it will be sold in two different models differentiated on storage memory; 8GB and 16GB. Moreover, you will find a 5 MP camera plus LED flash on the rear side while a 1.3 MP shooter is also available at the front.

Russia Will Be The First To Have The Phone

It seems like the first territory to receive the new Galaxy S Advance from Samsung is going to be Russia where the device will hit the shelves this February. After that, the device will arrive CIS, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Southeast and Southwest Asia, Latin American and China and the new smartphone will reach almost all over the world.

Well, if you were waiting patiently for the Samsung Galaxy S III, I am afraid that you will have to wait a bit longer because this device might not be able to fulfill your demands. About the announcement of Galaxy S III, Samsung is keeping very secret plans and we have no idea when we hear further news about its announcement or specs.
