Sony Ericson Xperia Still Not In The Market… [REVIEW]

Sony Ericson Xperia pro is still not in the market which should be there as announced at MWC in February.

It is such a phone that includes QWERTY keypad, Android Gingerbread, 480×854 LCD display, 1 GHz processor along with a camera of 8 mega pixels.

There are three arched buttons below the display screen. The keys it includes are thicker than that of Xperia arc. It can also be named as a looker. It is having a display with a resolution of 480×854 on 3.7 inch screen. The screen is quite bright but the images are really faded. Its weight is about 4.94oz while it is 13.5mm thick, including the QWERTY sliding keyboard. There is a front camera along with a rare one.Physical Features

Applications & Connectivity

Its interface is fully landscape as the keyboard is open. For speed texting, Swype option is there which is also known as Trace. There is a LiveWare app which allows you to start the application, whatever you wanted, when something is connected to the phone like a headphone, charger etc.

Internet connectivity is awesome as it gives us a fully prepared web browser which is capable of fluid zooming, scrolling and panning as well. Adobe Flash player is also there for you whenever you need it. In case of typing the virtual keyboard is used. There is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 7.2Mbps HSDPA 3g along with FM radio.

Camera Flash Problem

In case of camera it is also good and some of its pictures are shown below which were captured on a cloudy day, the details which are there in the pictures are the same as there can be in an 8 MP camera. Its indoor colors are not as good as it should be. Its flash is also not working properly and is not able to light up the image a bit which is 6 feet from it.

Excellent Sound Quality

It is having great voice quality with strong volume and clear sound. Its talk time is 7 hours when it is in 3G mode, slightly greater than the average.

Overall, It’s a Good Phone

All we can say that it is nice Android phone with a QWERTY virtual keypad, based on Android 2.3 Gingerbread phone. Its 1GHz Snapdragon S2 is more than required to run Timescape UI easily. Its pixel density is much more that should be there in a smartphone of mid-range category. Its price is also what it should have and completely match its characteristics.
