So the latest from Samsung are here. Walmart’s prepaid cellular service Straight Talk, is planning to release a new Android device. According to the Straight Talk guys, this Android phone is Samsung Galaxy Precedent and Walmart will be selling it for just $149.88 and without any contract. We think that the Samsung Galaxy Precedent was a part of Boost Mobile Prevail by Samsung but they pulled it off for the Walmart. It has the same features like the others in the Boost Prevail, like it doesn’t have the flash light on the back.
As we said before, the phone is sold without any contract from cellular service providers but it is specially designed to work with the Straight Talk. Straight Talk is providing an unlimited deal to the users who buy this phone. You can enjoy unlimited talk time, text, web and even 411 information for just a $45 per month.
We don’t have any idea when the phone is releasing and also no information is released by Straight talk about the phone specification. If you like this offer and want to know more about the phone, you can register you email address to the Straight Talk site and you will be notified whenever the more news comes out.
Do check the video below too. In this video you can see that the new Samsung Galaxy Precedent will be having pre-installed Swype in it. As we know that Straight Talk is a TracPhone MVNO and it uses the Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile networks.
We also have no idea about the sort of network to be supported by the Samsung Galaxy Precedent, CDMA or GSM? But the only thing we are sure about this Walmart’s deal is that you can save a lot of money and you will be free of any commitment to the network carriers.
