Samsung launched Galaxy E7 in February 2015 as a mid tier phone. Galaxy E7 and E5 entered the market together in an attempt by Samsung to garner customers looking for efficiency at a reasonable price. There are no fancy trimmings to this phone, what you get is what you have paid for. However, the specs are fairly impressive for a smartphone in this price bracket.
Galaxy E7 is a larger than usual phone with a 5.5 inch super AMOLED display. The phone runs on Android v4.4.4 KitKat and has a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. The Quad-core 1.2 GHz processor with a 2GB RAM provides good performance with the phone quite capable of multi-tasking without any noticeable slowing down. There is an optional dual-sim facility on offer with the second sim being on standby.
The phone has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front one for clicking some great snaps. Autofocus and an LED flash allow good clicks even in less light. E7 has 16GB of internal memory which can be augmented by another 64GB by using a microSD card. It has a Li-Ion 2950mAh battery that allows for up to 18 hours of talk time and 88 hours of music play. The only trouble here is that the battery is non-removable so there is no chance of you changing the power pack at the end of the day. Be prepared to run for the charger if things get dicey.
This is a great phone if you are looking for an economical handset that offers good functionality.
