Samsung launched Galaxy S5 Plus in October 2014; this phone was a step higher than the original flagship S5 from Samsung. The idea here was to give some stiff competition to the Apple iPhone 6. This phone definitely has what it takes to be a worthy opponent. It is IP67 certified to resist high levels of dust and water which make it a very sturdy phone, something very rarely seen in the premium phone market. The phone also has Fingerprint Sensor Technology that can do away with the hassle of entering pass codes scores of times in a day.
Galaxy S5 Plus has a high resolution super AMOLED display that is great to look at and has numerous viewing angles. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the display for added ruggedness. The phone runs on Android v4.4.4 KitKat and has a 2.5GHZ Snapdragon processor. A 2 GB RAM further helps in enhancing the phone’s performance. It comes in 16GB and 32GB internal memory variants which can be further boosted by 128GB using a microSD card.
S5 Plus has a 16MP rear camera that is capable of recording HD images while taking videos. A 2MP front camera does a decent job of taking selfies. A Li-Ion 2800mAh battery is capable of proving 20 hours worth of talk time with 3G which should be quite sufficient for the average user. This is a feature rich phone that is capable of giving the most premium of phones a run for their money.
