“Xperia Z” & “Xperia X” To Be Introduced By Sony Soon

There is no doubt that the letter X has played a very significant role in the success of a product and many amazing products are branded with X, and same is the case with the electronic devices or mainly the mobile devices. A little while ago, HTC introduced its One X handset which is currently their flagship Android smartphone. Well, now it seems like Sony is also going to use the letter X in their next flagship device. You might already know that Sony has been working on two high end smartphones based on Android they have model names Sony C650X and Sony 660X.

A few days ago it was reported that Sony’s C660X which is also codenamed as Sony Yuga, will be named as Sony Xperia Z. Now, some other sources are reported that Sony C650X or the codename Sony Odin handset will be named as Sony Xperia X. Well, it really makes sense that both Xperia Z and Xperia X are going to be the next flagship Android devices from the Japanese manufacturer but still the company has not confirmed either name.

That’s not it, various sources have also suggested that both Odin and Yuga handsets will feature almost all the same features and specs, while one of them will be designed for the US market while the other one will be the international model.

Specifications

Let’s talk a little about the rumored specs of these devices. According to the several reports, both Sony Xperia X and Z will be featuring a 5 inch full HD 1080p screen and Sony will be adding its own BRAVIA engine to enhance the graphics. That’s not it, both handsets will also be coming with 1.5GHz quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU under the hood along with 2GB of RAM as well as 32GB of internal storage. Of course both devices will also be coming with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.

CES 2013 will be held on 8th January and there is a chance that Sony will bring these handsets at the event. If not then, MWC expo in February also looks right for the launch of these new devices.
