HTC Vivid Review

android

HTC vivid has been considered as a good looking and nice smartphone along with its camera, large screen and great specs as well. It has also the capability to support the 4G LTE. Its drawback includes cheap plastic and the difficulty, in accessing a micro SD, to battery. If we ignore its cheap plastic it seems quite great experience to have it at affordable prices.

Running On Gingerbread

PakistanThis smartphone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread along with the HTC sense 3.0. Its outstanding specs includes  a large screen of 4.7 inches with 540×960 pixels HD touch screen as well, dual core processor of 1.2 GHz, amazingly a camera of 8 megapixel along with a front facing camera, it also supports all the videos in 1080p HD and have an internal memory of 16GB. This whole specs in a single smartphone seems quite interesting and you can have it only at $199.99.

Design

I am feeling really sorry to say this that its design does not like a HTC meticulously crafted its black body and round corners just resembles the devices of Samsung. This thing may prove to be harmful for its development in the market. It`s such big size make the low quality plastic more visible. Vivid still has some design on its back while makes it a bit good looking. It is also having metal accent characteristics. Such combination of phone`s angle and slippery plastic has made it a lot more difficult for the people to carry it because this thing has made it a bit slippery.

smartphoneAnother drawback, which is found nearly in every HTC mobile, is that if we want to insert a micro SD card you always have to remove the battery from its back. It`s super LCD display seemed quite sharp, colorful and much clearer and has the ability to support 262,000 colors. There is front camera of 1.3 mega pixel and which is used for self portrait and can also be used for the video chat. There are four touch sensitive buttons and a thin volume rocker on the right side having Micro SD along with it. There is a power button on the extreme top of the phone and most importantly dual LED flash on its back.

Other Features

Some of its features include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and also the communication standards which include multiple inbox support, text messaging and also multimedia. It also includes Contact importing, syncing of social networking and as well as access to the usual services of Google which includes Gmail, Maps, and YouTube.
