iPhone 5 Might Be Having 3.9 inches Screen Size With a Resolution of 1136×640
Well what we can say about the rumors as we usually come across one or two every time we look around. Of course Apple products are the center of most of these rumors because of their high popularity and Apple’s strict secrecy. At this time we are waiting anxiously for the release of the iPhone 5 or the fifth generation iPhone and that is why rumors related to this handset are arriving. Of course previous iPhones also came with many rumors but actually as the time passes the quantity of the rumors also start to increase. You might remember that a little while ago we reported that the next iPhone will be the first one to feature a larger screen.
Apple Testing Hardware Designs
It means that Apple will be upgrading the display screen of the new iPhone not only by the pixels but its size will increase as well. According to some inside sources of 9to5Mac, we have heard that Apple is currently testing different hardware designs and styles for the new iPhone. Apparently, the only thing common in all those prototypes is the display screen which is larger and Retina Display enabled as well.
Well, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S came with similar display screens that featured 3.5 inch size and 960 x 640 pixel resolution which was pretty amazing. But now we all know that how popular all the Android and Windows Phone devices are getting mainly due to their larger display screens and that is the main reason why Apple is planning on increasing the size of its iPhone screen as well.
So, if we think that the rumors and speculations are accurate then the sources are suggesting that iPhone 5 will be coming with a 3.9 inch display screen that will be sporting a screen resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels which means that there will be an extra row of icons on the home screen of iPhone.
Overall, it is just a rumor right now and of course Apple might be internally testing several prototypes but the only prototype that we are concerned about is the one that will be released in October by Apple.
