No More Unlimited Calls on Zong LBC Packages!

It has been decided by the  king of location based charging ‘Zong’ to abandon all the unlimited calls for LBC package holders only by introducing a fair usage policy for utilizing daily free minutes.
Amongst all the local operators in capitalizing the location based charging Zong is the most successful. It is very clear from the above statement that no doubt Zong has registered record number of sales in previous 12 months or so mostly on the basis of these LBC offerings.

Nevertheless, now by limiting the quota Zong has decided to cap the unlimited calls for daily usage. Read the following point to get the details:

Policy of fair usage for LBC packages:

These following important points are for those entire availing LBC package for any city of Pakistan (including Lahore and Islamabad etc)

  1. Now for LBC package free on-net calls are not unlimited
  2. 180 free on-net minutes will be given daily
  3. Each call is going to be charged at 10 paisa per minute after the first 180 free minutes

Even after this cap, this package is still a useful one and also stated that daily charges for LBC offerings are only Rs. 7 including tax. But the thing which is going to be missed a lot is the fun of unlimited calling.

Recent update:

There is good news that Zong has taken back its 180 minutes offer and now unlimited calls are totally free for all LBC users.
