Samsung Capative Glide [Review]

Introduction:

Samsung Captivate Glide is a nicely designed smartphone which fits best in the modern world. It`s hardware is quite perfect and meets each and every demand of elite users in all over the world.

Design:

It is made up of plastic with such a light weight, 5.2 oz, but it has overall flimsy build quality. A camera of 8 mega pixels is there along with LED flash at the top. If we remove its back plastic cover then it will lead us to SIM card slot where a battery of 1650mAh and microSD slot is present.

Interface and Functionality:

It is based on the TouchWiz UI which can be seen on most of the Android tablets powered by Samsung. It basically has a unique trend of enhancement which provides users a great experience. It includes all the basic elements that are there in Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.

Internet and Connectivity:

This smartphone is having the HSPA+ connection, with the help of which we can render complex sites and heavy flash content can also be handled easily. It is well equipped smartphone which provides reliable web browsing.

Camera:
An 8 mega pixels auto focus camera is there in it and its result resembles with that of Samsung Galaxy S II. Macro shots are great but in case of outdoor pictures, it appears to be a bit faint. LED flash plays an important role in all the pictures taken from a distance of 5 feet away. Its 720p video recording is a source of complete disappointment for the users.

Multimedia:
Its multimedia is not exceptionally great, it is same as that found in most of the other smartphones but its equalizer settings and visualization really needs appreciation. Its audio quality is also appreciable as well.

Its internal free storage is about 3.75 GB and its other space of about 1.83 GB is already reserved for storage for other system devices. But we can have a microSD card of maximum 32 GB in size.

Conclusion:The calling quality is not exceptional but manageable enough so that we can carry out conversations easily. The output of the speaker is strong but there is a scratchy tone in the voice.

We can distinguish Samsung Captivate from other smartphones on the basis of its useful physical keyboard. It has deemed at last with an offer of its dual core processor, vivid Super, HSPA+ connectivity and SUPER AMOLED display as well.
