Apart from the other telecommunication companies, zong and ufone seem to be in a race to provide cheaper mobile phones. Because in the past 2 to 3 years zong had released its first and a very low cost handset which attracted many people. After that ufone also released its handset which did a handsome business in the market. From then both the companies have released another 2 handsets each. But the other telecommunication companies do not seem to be interested in this business.

So far there have been couple of high end phones released by both companies, both of zong and ufone have previously joined hands with huawei and released android based mobiles.  Its not just that, but most of these companies have been getting smarter on public awareness and marketing, so they conduct blogger meets and release their phones then, which gets them free publicity as all the bloggers write about the events in their blogs.

Ufone has launched its latest handset by the name of ‘G1000’ and this one is expected to break the past all records because it its being sold at an unbelievable price of only Rs 999.

G1000 has a simple design with a blue coloured back light. It has almost all the features that come in the Nokia low end phones but its price is very less than those Nokia phones. It has a powerful torch light, an FM radio which can be used without connecting the hands free. This is not it because ufone is also offering a free sim loaded with a balance of Rs 50. If you do not want to take that ufone sim then you can purchase the mobile at Rs 949 only.
