Display Resolution of “Samsung Galaxy S IV” Might Be Higher Than iPhone 5
Previously, we used to compare smartphones by comparing their processors and storage memories but in the recent times display screen has also become an important factor and many people consider it before buying a smartphone. In addition to the processor and storage capacity of the device, now people also see that whether a device has high resolution display screen or not. So that is the main reason why all the major smartphone manufacturers have started to put their efforts on the display screen as well.

A couple of days ago a report was published which suggested that Samsung’s next flagship device which will be called Galaxy S IV will be coming with a display screen that will feature higher resolution than any other smartphone currently available in the market, even the Apple iPhone 5.

Of course we can’t confirm the report right now, as Samsung will definitely keep all the details secret until the launch of the device comes very near. Now, it has been already rumored that Galaxy S IV will be coming with a Super AMOLED display which will be able to produce pixel density of 440 ppi at least. Now, 440 ppi density is currently being considered as the highest feasible density for a 5 inched display. On the other hand, we have also heard that Samsung might be working with a new diamond hexagonal layout instead of the usual side by side layout for the pixels that will allow them to add more pixels into a small space. So, it will mean that Samsung is going to make a great improvement over the current Galaxy S III’s display which had pixel density of 306 ppi while iPhone 5 has a pixel density of 306 ppi.
We cannot deny that Samsung’s lineup of Galaxy S smartphones has been very popular and these are really the most popular and highest selling Android smartphones of our time. That is the main reason why there is so much anticipation for the next Galaxy S smartphone and we are hearing various rumors about its specs as well.
