Samsung “Galaxy S IV” Expected To Have Wireless Charging Technology

According to the recent reports we have found out that Samsung’s next flagship device named as Galaxy S IV will be coming with a feature that will allow it to charge wirelessly. We all know that Samsung’s Galaxy S III was a huge success and it was only last month when holiday season was here but now we have been hearing much about these unreleased and unannounced devices from the major manufacturers.

There is no doubt that Galaxy S III became the most popular and high selling Android device of the year 2012 and now we are looking for the winner in the 2013. Of course all eyes should be on the most successful Android device of the upcoming year but it puts a lot of pressure on Samsung as well. As they have a duty to exceed the expectations of the consumers by bringing something better than they did in the Galaxy S III. So, it seems like Samsung thought Wireless Charging will be a great addition to its devices, as they are thinking of adding it in the Galaxy S IV.

The report came from a Korean blog that suggests that Galaxy S lineup from Samsung will now feature a new service, Wireless Charging. This would be the first smartphone from Samsung that will feature wireless charging. You might remember that Palm devices used to come with wireless charging feature that included charging mat which was sold separately to the smartphone. So, we think that Galaxy S IV will also feature an alternate rear panel that will support wireless charging along with the similar charging mat that will allow the device to charge wirelessly.

Of course Palm is a little old school now and Samsung will go for the up to date technology using advanced methods of wireless charging including advanced magnetic coupling. You might remember that Apple is looking at the same technology as their patents show. In Galaxy S III, Samsung was facing some issues with keeping the cost down of the device and that’s why this technology was not used.
