Samsung Galaxy Beam Set to Release In Pakistan with a Price Tag of PKR 55,000

Samsung announced a new handset back in February at the MWC expo in Barcelona. It is named as Samsung Galaxy Beam and at the event, it was one of the first of the new smartphones to be announced. In addition to that, Samsung also promises that this will be the first projector phone for the masses. Now, I know that it is sequel to the original Galaxy Beam handset released a while ago, but that handset had a limited launch and wasn’t released all around the world. Now, we are in June and still Samsung has not released this new smartphone and many people who were hoping to get their hands on this powerful projector phone are still waiting.

Now, it seems like Galaxy Beam is finally coming as the popular retailer in UK named as Carphone Warehouse has added this Galaxy Beam handset to its list of upcoming phones. It also means that the device will be out in the next month. So, the Samsung Galaxy Beam will be released in July and apparently, it will be coming with a price tag of $600 without a carrier contract. It also means that it will cost around PKR 55,000/- in Pakistan.

Specifications

Here are some details about the Galaxy Beam smartphone. Of course the main aspect of the handset is its 15 lumen built in pico projector which will be capable of producing lumens into a 50 inch picture with a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels. In spite of all this power, Samsung has somehow managed to keep the handset pretty smart, as it is only 12.5mm thick. It comes with a dual core 1GHz processor under the hood and you will also find a 5MP rear camera as well as a front facing shooter.

In our opinion, Galaxy Beam will be an instant hit due to its unique features. You have to keep in mind that the projector used in Galaxy Beam will be able to perform at its best in the low lit environments and it might not be able to work too well in the bright sunshine.
