Nokia Pure View 808 To Be Shipped In Pakistan Later This Month

Well, if you are Nokia fan then I am sure that you are anxiously waiting for the new Nokia PureView 808 handset. The PureView 808 comes with gigantic 41MP camera and it seems like this handset will be hitting the shelves in Pakistan very soon. We have received the news from some close sources to the company.

Earlier today, Nokia held a Nokia PureView 808 Preview event in which only select bloggers and journalists were invited. Now, it is highly expected that the handset will be start shipping in the next week or so.

To Be Shipped in Pakistan Later This Month

It seems like the wait is almost going to an end. From today, Nokia has already released the handset in some countries around Asia including Malaysia and Indonesia. It means that if you are living in one of those countries, you will be able to pick up one for yourself right now. Nokia has also announced that the handset will be shipped to other markets including India, Russia and Pakistan later this month. We have also heard that Nokia is unable to make larger shipments initially, which means that there will be huge demand to fulfill in the first month of release.

When we talk about the rest of the world, according to a listing at UK’s retailer Clove’s website, Nokia PureView 808 will be released in July. On the other hand, the camera phone fans in US will also be able to get one very soon, but this handset will not be available on carrier contracts which means that consumers will have to pay a very substantial amount to get one.

We have heard that Nokia PureView 808 will be coming with a price tag of PKR 52,000 in Pakistan. It runs on the latest Symbian Belle FP1, which was previously named as Symbian Carla as well. The main feature of the device is its 41MP camera lens accompanied by PureView technology which is capable of capturing highest quality images.
