Now Boeing 787 Dreamliner Passengers To Enjoy Android During Their Flight

As we all know, Android’s popularity is growing day by day and it’s becoming the most popular mobile system around the globe. There are many smartphones and tablets running on Android, which are enjoyed alot by customers. You can take a look at all the stuff and features packed in Android by surfing the internet.

Many of the commercial airplanes are providing internet connectivity during flight now days. Now if you combine this internet connectivity with screens running on Android based servers, you will have a very enjoyable flight.

Today, an announcement came from Boeing which stated that they will use the Android as an OS of their server in the 787 Dreamliner. It means that Boeing is providing screens in the back of every seat of the aircraft which will be powered by Android, so that the passengers will be able to experience the Android interface with internet connectivity right on their seats. According to Boeing, the economy class screens will have touch control and the passengers will be able to access to videos, apps and much more during their flight.

While the screens in business and first class compartments will not be touch based, because there will a wide distance between screens and seats. Boeing is testing now days with Panasonic screens on its aircrafts. So, we expect to see Panasonic screens and gesture control in the 787 Dreamliner jets.

Overall it’s very cool to see Android being run by one of the largest commercial aircraft as a facility to its customers, it will make the 787 Dreamline one of the most tech packed jets and it will also increase the popularity of Android around the world.
