We started the Google+ project to help make online sharing more like real-world sharing. Of course, in life we increasingly share on the go, so over the past ~90 days we’ve developed Google+ apps for Android, iOS and the mobile web.

During this time we’ve made lots of improvements to the project, and in fact, the team just announced its 100th new feature overall (open signups). But our work is far from done, and today we’re bringing seven additional Google+ features to your mobile device.

Hangouts

Hangouts is the latest feature added in Google +. Smartphones having Android of version 2.3 and above, can now enjoy video chatting with their front cameras in this app’s newly added feature. Integration is being done of Hangouts with Google Docs, SketchUp and also with other users to share screen. This new feature added in + is one of the awesome features including this that it is also compatible with mobile devices.

Users from United States and even from India can now get notifications and group messages by the service of text. This can be done after you enable this from the settings. Many more countries will also get this service in the future.

The Google + experience is further made good by the addition of more features like the editing of profile photos, notification’s customization and the movement of Google+ to the SD card in your Android based smartphone. +Huddles to Google+ messaging system is renamed as the Messenger. It also allows people to upload there pictures for sending it to other groups or circle.

Shortage of Users is Now The Only Problem

The problem faced by Google + now is only the shortage of users. If there are none of your friends on Google + then what can you much do or get from these features added.

To make people migrate from Facebook to Google+ will not be an easy target to achieve. Everyone is used to this social network.
