Samsung S III Expected In April/May; Production Started

In the recent times we have been hearing a lot of speculations and rumors about Samsung’s Galaxy S III smartphone. This next generation Galaxy S smartphone is eagerly anticipated by so many Android fans, it will be featuring 1080p full HD as well as a quad core processor. It is expected that that this smartphone will go head to head with the iPhone 5 upon its launch.

There is no doubt that Galaxy S II is the most successful Android smartphone out there and now it also sports the latest Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich.

We have been getting conflicting reports on the release date of the Galaxy S III, some of them predicted April while others a little later. ZDNet Korea claimed earlier this month that Samsung Galaxy S III will be arriving in April.

Yesterday, a source from Phone Arena leaked out an alleged high resolution image of the upcoming device Galaxy S III. As you can see in the image below, the device has a very sleek design and it would become even nicer if the ceramic finish rumor becomes true. Well, this design is only a concept image and this might not be the device that will arrive in the coming months.

Today, Android Spin has reported that Galaxy S III production has been started which means that device might be released next month or at least in May. Samsung might want to use the London Olympics as the marketing hub for the Galaxy S III smartphone. The games will be starting in July but we are seeing an increase in the build up and advertising of the event.

Samsung Spokesman Denies To Discuss The Release Date

Well, at this time Samsung spokesman has declined to confirm the release time period, so right now we can only guess the release date. As we already know that Apple iPhone 5 is also coming in the coming months, we are sure that Samsung would like to attract some of the Apple fans with its next high end flagship device. We are certainly very excited about this new handset from Samsung and are eagerly anticipating for its release.
