Samsung Takes Timely Action As The New Flexible Screens Gain Popularity

Now-a-days, the new flexible screens are very popular among the gadgets events and trade shows. And much time has been required by Samsung, world`s most successful electronic devices, in order to make it palatable reality.

Samsung Aiming To Improve Tablets Display Quality

It was announced by Samsung that they are further aiming on tablets having quality display in the coming year. After the huge success of Samsung`s Galaxy S-II that has already been sold to a number of people ranging over ten million in a period of six months. Samsung has got the track and now going on the right way by making flexible display on its tablets and smartphones. It has been spurred on by success of its own. After its operational profit which seemed to be about double during the time interval of July to September, its yearly profit was still only US$3.1 billion, and it was about a decrement of 23% in the previous profit.

Profit Lost In Production of Chips & Other Display Related Experiments

According to Samsung this profit was somehow lost in the production of chips and some other experiments for its flexible display. According to the spokesman of Samsung Robert Yi has said “The flexible display, we are looking to introduce sometime in 2012, hopefully the earlier part. The application probably will start from the handset side”. He also added that mobile and tablets seem to be the first one which will be out of production line.

New news has been come in front that Samsung has bought a tech company named as Liquavista which will help it in the production of electrowetting display. This type of display is very bright, flexible, and transparent and the most important thing is that it is the cheapest one. The latest technology of Samsung is really impressive. Its latest OLED is inside a rigid shell but slight similar to that of Nokia`s offerings, by a twist along with a pull of screen we can also interact. After the bending e-Reader who made flexible display from Plastic Logic, since then it has been quite famous while in this response Sony launched its first flexible display named as Flex OLED in 2009.

Samsung Ahead of Apple In The Smartphone Battle

Samsung seems to be wining gradually the battle of smartphones against its rival Apple. According to stats made in the third quarter it has been seen that Samsung has been proved successful by selling 27.8 million Galaxy S-II units as compared to 17.1 million of Apple smartphones.
