Surface Phone Concept…

We all are familiar with the amazing tablet devices that were announced by Microsoft, dubbed as Surface tablets. These tablet devices brought a completely new and fresh design with the latest Windows 8 as the operating system. After the announcement of these tablet devices and seeing that Microsoft has entered the tablet business, it was rumored that Microsoft is also planning to venture into the smartphone industry as well.

Just like the tablets, this rumored smartphone from Redmond based company will be called Surface Phone. Now, we really don’t know if Microsoft is even working on such project or not but still various artists and designers have brought their own versions of Surface Phone concepts. Well, today we are bringing you a concept of a Surface Phone by Microsoft and this is made by a very talented artist.

Specifications

The device is a larger model that features a 5 inch Super AMOLED+ screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Of course it will be running on Microsoft’s latest Windows Phone 8, but the artist thinks that it will be running on Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 hybrid platform. In addition to that, this device is thought to sport a full fledged USB 3.0 port. On the back of the device there is a 12MP camera with an ultra bright flash light.

Kickstand & Keyboard

This concept Surface phone comes with all the other regular features but another interesting addition in it is packed with a kickstand on the back just like some of the Android devices. This kickstand will be very useful for sitting back and watching movies on it. In addition to that, it will also feature a mini touch cover that also has a physical keyboard which is very slim. Now, it looks pretty cool but I don’t think anyone would need it because the phone already has a gigantic screen.

Overall it is quite amazing concept and we will love to see this light of the day. We are waiting for Microsoft to bring its own version of Surface phone soon.
