Twitter For iPhone & Android Updated

The twitter app for iPhone and Android is having a huge overhaul today and both of its versions have to see a number of changing under the hood.

The iOS version has now been upgraded to 4.0 while it is 3.0 in case of Android and these updates have been made exclusively on the App store of Apple and Android market and the users are downloading it to check it out.

It has been proved to be a good one as both of these apps have undergone the visual changes and the developers have done their best to make this app better in speed stakes but we are still not confirmed about the speed it is having and anything else.

The change that can be noticed by the users is the reply tab as it is no more there because it has now been removed and a new connect tab is there in place of it. The mobile apps are having more just replies which include Retweets and Favorite tweets. As this is not a major change so firstly you will be able to see only this minor change in the new versions.

A new home to twitter trends and search is “Discover”, and the tab of Hashtags is also there for the people who want to gather around a specific topic. As the app has recently been announced so we have not noticed other changes but we are now testing this app to check out the changes that has been made to it. Another particular thing that has been noticed is the removal of a feature from this app that just made sense till twitter itself removed it today.

In the last version the users were allowed to access the feature to reply or re-tweet just by swiping the finger by which an option has been displayed to do the desired job. This is not the same in the new versions as this feature has been removed and if we want to edit or remove the tweet then we have to wait until it uploads and when it is completely uploaded then we can edit it as we want to. This maybe a bad update because yesterday users were liking to wait for the tweet to upload if they wanted to edit it directly.
