- Apparently by looking at the specifications N8 looks good than E7 because of its high quality camera and many features which are similar with the ones in E7. Despite the fact that E7 has screen 0.5 inches larger than N8, both these handset have capacitive touch screens and support multi touch. N8 has better GPRS and EDGE services but E7 is faster than N8 due to larger ROM capacity. E7 has a quite good looking sliding qwerty keyboard but N8 has not. Moreover, if we face a similar situation in case of battery. N8 has greater talk time than E7 but in standby E7 is much better than N8.
Both handsets appear to be of the same price group because there is a trade of features in both phones, but they are not. There is a difference of almost Rs 7000 in their prices. Why is that so? Besides the fact that N8 is almost 3 months older than E7, Nokia E7 has a feature which differentiate these two handsets. If we ignore the display then both handsets are liked by people because some people like features of Nokia N8 and others like features in E7. For example some people emphasize on a high quality camera while many others give preference to the sliding qwerty keyboard. So in short both phones have their own good things.
Apart from good thing there are also some problems in these handsets.
N8, which Nokia supposed was the Android or iPhone killer had some early set backs when a number of complaints were registered by the N8 users. The main problems which much users faced was that after recharging the phone resisted to turn on. Very surprisingly Nokia admitted that problems in N8 were present. But they did not give any detail that whether this problem is in a specific region or all mobile phones are affected. Due to this problem Nokia suffered much loss and N8 lost its high place in the market.
Nokia has not admitted any problems in E7 but users have a huge list of problems. These include
