Latest Android Updated By the Name of “Jelly Bean” Introduced by Google

As you might have heard, yesterday Google introduced the next big update for its mobile operating system, Android. This new update is called Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and we have been expecting this update for a long time now and we have also heard a lot of rumors and speculations about what new stuff it will be bringing. Features

Project Butter

First of all there is Project Butter, that will offer butter smooth graphics and performance without any lag. So, finally, Android will also become a lag free mobile platform and with the help of the Project Butter, touch response have gotten a lot faster as well. Users will also be able to multitask and switch multiple apps at a time without any sort of lag.

Google Now

Another new service included in the Jelly Bean update is called Google Now. With this service, your phone will get information from all your search history, calendar data and other stuff and then it will automatically give you suggestions that are related to you. This service will be only available in US for the moment.

Improved Notification Bar

Notification bar in the Android Jelly Bean has been improved so much and now you can say that it has become far better than the one used in iOS. The new improvements include, notifications will be made actionable, which means that you will be able to take quick actions right from your notification drawer.

Other small improvements include; automatic resizing and alignment of icons and widgets, brand new gallery that also offers film strip view, swiping gestures to deal with images, keyboard is much improved and the autocorrect feature works better as well, offline dictation is added that will allow you to dictate the text to your device without connecting to the internet and a lot more new features.
